Iron Wolves didn’t begin with sponsors, perfect facilities, or a ready-made team.
It started with an idea.

Founded by Frederik and Mathias in 2019, Iron Wolves was built to create something different: a team based on discipline, respect, serious training, and strong community. A place where ambition and brotherhood go hand in hand.

From the beginning, their mother Liselotte supported the vision and helped build the foundation that would later grow into far more than just a club.

Today, Frederik and Mathias serve as founders and Head Coaches, combining strengths in physical performance, coaching, martial arts, and international buhurt competition experience. Together, they created a team focused not only on building strong fighters, but strong people.

The beginning
At first, there were no members. Just two men in armor training in a flooded basement with a dream of building something bigger.

The early years were tough. Training conditions were rough, progress was slow, and success was never guaranteed. But those hardships built the culture that still defines Iron Wolves today: loyalty, resilience, and team spirit.

Over time, the club grew. More fighters joined, armor was built, and the level kept rising. Today, Iron Wolves has its own 400+ m² training facility with gym space, workshop, storage, and training areas - all built through passion, volunteer work, and thousands of hours of dedication.

The turning point
A major turning point came during Iron Challenge, the first tournament Iron Wolves competed in after only one year as a team. Expectations were modest. The goal was simply to gain experience. Instead, Iron Wolves won the entire tournament and became Danish champions in their very first competition.

Since then, the team has continued to grow stronger, winning medals and competing both nationally and internationally. Members of Iron Wolves later became World Champions in 30 vs 30 together with Team Australia, proving how far the journey had come -from a flooded basement to the world arenas.

At the World Championships, the team also received the Fair Play Award, recognising not just their skill, but their respect and sportsmanship.

Because at Iron Wolves, strength is about more than fighting.
It’s about honor, loyalty, and lifting each other up.

The club has also used the sport to support others, including organizing an Ukraine support tournament that raised significant funds for Ukrainian fighters and civilians affected by war.

But despite the titles and achievements, Iron Wolves is most proud of its people.

Seeing someone who never believed in themselves step into armor months later and discover their own strength - that is what Iron Wolves is truly about.

Iron Wolves is more than a team.
It’ a community.
A family.

And this is only the beginning.
